Peninsula Villages will commemorate the lives of those who have fought for our country with a special ANZAC Day service at the Village on Wednesday 25 April 2018, with the service open to members of the public.
Residents and friends will be commemorating the day from 10am with a morning tea, followed by a traditional service in the main hall.
Led by resident Reverend Peter Swain, the service allows residents to wear any medals awarded to them, their spouse, relatives or family members during the special service that is usually attended by more than 100 people.
ANZAC Day is a great day for the Village and local community to come together and pay tribute to our fallen soldiers and those who continue to protect our country.
The ANZAC Day service will be concluded with a heart-warming performance by the Peninsula Village choir who will be singing two songs – ‘O God, Our Help in Ages Past’ and ‘God Bless Australia’.
