Nurse Practitioner to represent Peninsula Village at National LASA Awards

After winning the Individual Award at the NSW/ACT LASA Awards, Peninsula Villages Nurse Practitioner, Claire Abbott will now represent the organisation and the state at the National Awards.

The LASA Excellence in Age Services Awards recognise the outstanding achievements of the age services industry. The 2018 national awards will be presented at LASA National Congress in Adelaide from 28-30 October.

Claire was awarded the Outstanding Individual Award at the NSW/ACT ceremony earlier this year. This award recognises an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the age services sector, has used innovation and initiative to improve the lives of older people and has delivered high quality care to the aged.

We are very lucky to have Claire at Peninsula Villages as she is the only aged care Nurse Practitioner working in residential aged care on the Central Coast.

We look forward to hearing how Claire goes at the National Awards, up against four other wonderful finalists.
