In late December the Peninsula Village bus made two trips to pick up the wonderful children from Umina Kid’s Club. The plan was for the children to sing carols both upstairs and downstairs in our special care units of Jack Aldous House.
The children were so enthusiastic that when the first load of children were left with their teacher in the hall waiting for the remaining group, the children started singing to any resident who was sitting in the hall. A couple even did a Christmas dance along to the sounds of the children! The residents in Jack Aldous House were absolutely thrilled with the children’s performance. The children brought smiles to both residents and staff.
Peninsula Villages is very proud of their continued partnership and intergenerational programs undertaken with this local child care organisation. What a wonderful way to end 2019 and celebrate Christmas! 🎄🎅🏻🎵
