On Tuesday 14 January, Peninsula Villages was delighted to host top-rated breakfast show, Sunrise to provide a little insight into our community-focused atmosphere and lifestyle at the Village.
The morning crosses commenced with a wonderful hello with staff and our friends from the First Sea Scout's Woy Woy, before we had residents join Sam Mac for some putt putt, a spot of gardening and our wonderful volunteer Ukulele group also performed.
By 7.30am we were pleased to have two of our resident centenarians, Biddy and Gordon, join Sam Mac for a little breakfast date and chat about their life in their 100s.
To cap off a fantastic morning weather presenter, Sam Mac wrote and shared a song about our Village and we were delighted to join him in the fun!
What a fantastic morning to show off all the wonderful and positive aspects of residential aged care with the rest of Australia! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit with Sunrise.
