 Staff and Visitors are no longer required to wear a mask in the facility

There are no restrictions on the number of visitors a resident can have each day or at any one time.

Visiting Hours will remain the same to enable screening of visitor temperatures and sign in:

8am – 4pm Monday to Friday

8am – 2pm Saturday and Sunday

Residents can leave the facility for outings such as medical appointments or to visit locations in the community such as shops and cafes.

Visitors are not allowed who:

  • have COVID-19 symptoms- fever (37. 5°C or higher) or symptoms of COVID-19
  • have been to Auckland, New Zealand in the last 14 days (in exceptional circumstances contact the Public Health Unit for advice)
  • are a close contact of a person with confirmed COVID-19 and are within their self-isolation period
  • live in a household with a person who is currently self-isolating
  • are waiting for a COVID-19 test result.
  • There are no areas of increased testing in NSW.


    Peninsula Village will continue to support our resident’s personal welfare by facilitating regular communication with family and friends via telephone calls, video conferencing, window visits and continuing our activity program.
